Considering the size of the load and the operating status of Gensets, sometimes it is necessary to parallel Gensets. If you want to increase the elasticity of the backup power supply, or because the load is too large, you can consider using two or more units in parallel as a backup power supply. In some cases, because the proportion of inductive load in the load is relatively large, the power required during start-up is large, and the power is small during normal operation, which causes the low-load operation to be very unfavorable to the unit. At such situation, we need to consider start-up with paralleling gen sets then switch into the mode of running in stand-alone mode after start-up.
According to the load size, the Gen-sets will be automatically paralleled or disengaged and then shut down. This will achieve better economic benefits and maintain a good operating state of the Gen-sets and achieve flexible power supply.
