As a typical representative of the energy industry, the mining industry plays a pillar role in the global economy and it can be said that "minerals are the food of industry and mines are the land of food".
In the mining industry, mining workers will use a variety of machinery and equipment, these devices are heavily dependent on a stable and reliable power supply, and the mains power grid often can not reach these mining sites. Therefore, the application of diesel generator sets in the mining industry is particularly important.
The mine project is located in the Oceania mining area and the user requires a high specification due to the environment and other reasons.
Difficulties of the project
Continuous 24/7 operation required
High ambient temperature and dust
Requires noise levels below 85dBA@7m
Fuel and sewage must not leak on the ground
Diesel consumption rate below 195g/Kwh
Different manufacturers for power generation and distribution
Customised solutions: helping mining work for economic development
For 24-hour continuous operation, we use an MTU 16V4000 engine with a two-year warranty and high-pressure common rail electronic injection technology, which can last for more than 3,500 hours without fail
In view of the high temperature and dusty environment on site, we have used a 55°C radiator and set the radiator above the container, in addition to a heavy duty air filter for filtration on the intake side, which lasts for a long time and also has a wide range of dust handling with an efficiency higher than 99%.
The noise level is below 85dBA@7m and eight low speed fans are used on the radiator, which is below 83dBA@1m when the radiator is in operation, and noise reduction is achieved by the addition of an air intake and exhaust air filter, resulting in a noise level below 80dBA@7m.
In view of the fact that fuel and sewage cannot leak onto the ground, we have used a double fuel tank and installed a special leak-proof layer at the bottom of the tank.
As the diesel consumption rate is less than 195g/Kwh, we use the MTU 16V4000G63F engine, which consumes 191g/Kwh and saves the customer $80,000 a year in fuel costs, based on 5,000 hours of use per year.
For power generation and distribution are different manufacturers, we use to establish working communication groups with other suppliers to communicate directly to avoid improper transmission of information.
